    In Raipur, Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai acknowledged the Sen Samaj as a progressive community with a rich history and significant contributions to various sectors. He emphasized their vital role in the progress and development of Chhattisgarh. Addressing the Sen Samaj women’s district presidents and talent felicitation ceremony, Chief Minister Sai announced a ₹20 lakh grant for a social building in Balod Nagar. The event began with the Chief Minister paying tribute to Sen Maharaj and lighting a lamp.

    Chief Minister Sai highlighted the importance of education for social change, particularly focusing on the need to advance women’s education. He noted that an educated woman benefits the entire family and contributes to a stronger society and nation. The government views women as fundamental to nation-building. He praised the contributions of prominent Sen Samaj members, including the late Shri Karpuri Thakur, and acknowledged the community’s efforts to address social inequalities. He assured the government’s full support for the betterment of the Sen Samaj.

    Chief Minister Sai also discussed the government’s initiatives to strengthen the economic conditions of the state’s farmers and various schemes designed to empower women economically. He pointed to the implementation of the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, a key initiative under Modi’s guarantee, benefiting 70 lakh women in the state. This scheme aims to provide financial autonomy to Chhattisgarh’s women, enabling them to play a more influential role within their families and society.

    Chief Minister Sai also highlighted the central government’s Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao initiative, which aims to improve the sex ratio, promote girls’ education, and encourage a positive attitude towards women. He emphasized that daughters are a source of pride and the government is committed to ensuring their education and safety through this initiative. The event also included speeches from MLA Shri Purandar Mishra and Citizen Supplies Corporation Chairman Shri Sanjay Srivastava.

    Talented students, artists, and women social workers from the Sen Samaj were honored with shawls and mementos. The event was attended by Ms. Mona Sen, President of the Chhattisgarh State Hair Crafts Welfare Board, Shri Puneet Sen, State President of the Chhattisgarh Sarva Sen Samaj, and numerous community members.
