    A polytechnic college will open in the Prayas residential school and garden in Jashpur.

    Raipur, December 25, 2024/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Say today, on the occasion of Good Governance Day, the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna former Prime Minister late Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, gave many big gifts for the development of Jashpur district. In a program organized in Saliatoli village of Kunkuri region, the Chief Minister performed the ground-breaking ceremony and inauguration of 172 development works costing ₹726 crore 27 lakh. This includes the inauguration of 50 works costing ₹65 crore 94 lakh and the ground-breaking ceremony of 122 works costing ₹660 crore 33 lakh. On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Say provided beneficiary materials and equipment to many beneficiaries under various beneficiary-oriented schemes of the government.

    The 122 works for which Chief Minister Shri Say performed the ground-breaking ceremony, costing ₹660.33 crore, include 21 works costing ₹58.83 crore in Jashpur assembly constituency, 58 works costing ₹498.01 crore in Kunkuri assembly constituency, and 43 works costing ₹103.48 crore in Pathalgaon assembly constituency. The ground-breaking works mainly include Prayas Residential School in Jashpur, a new Polytechnic College in Bagicha, a recreation park in Kunkuri, the second floor of the Jashpur district office, infrastructure-warehouses in 15 paddy procurement centers, an indoor gym in Salihatoli, a badminton court in Bagicha, and various works under Amrit Mission 2.0 in Kunkuri. Similarly, the 50 newly constructed works inaugurated by Chief Minister Shri Say, costing ₹65.94 crore, include 26 works costing approximately ₹27.76 crore in Jashpur assembly constituency, 12 works costing ₹5.65 crore in Kunkuri assembly constituency, and 12 works costing ₹32.51 crore in Pathalgaon assembly constituency. The inaugurated works mainly include the Pongaron Anikat Hydro Power based pumping scheme, 4 pre-matric girls’ hostel buildings, 6 stop dams, a new tribal girls’ hostel in Sendrimunda, and a high school building in Narayanpur.

    MLA Smt. Gomati Say and Raymuni Bhagat, Zilla Panchayat President Smt. Shanti Bhagat, Chief Minister’s wife Smt. Kaushalya Say, Shri Krishna Kumar Rai, Municipal Vice President Shri Rajesh Gupta, Shri Rampraap Singh, Shri Yash Pratap Singh Judev, Shri Sunil Gupta, Shri Rohit Say, and other public representatives and officials were present on this occasion.
