    The Chief Minister announced the organization of a health check-up camp every year on March 8th

    Doctors from AIIMS Raipur are treating patients at the camp

    Raipur, March 8, 2025/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai today inaugurated the comprehensive health check-up camp organized in memory of the late Kumar Dilip Singh Judev on his birth anniversary at Balasaheb Deshpande Mahavidyalaya ground in Saliyotoli under Kunkuri in Jashpur district, by offering flowers on the portraits of Maa Saraswati, Bharat Mata, Chhattisgarhi Mahtari and the late Kumar Dilip Singh Judev. On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Sai announced the organization of a comprehensive health check-up camp every year on March 8th.

    Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the Chhattisgarh government is constantly striving to expand health facilities in the state. Our goal is that the citizens of the state remain healthy and the state moves towards prosperity. Working with commitment in this direction, a provision has been made in this year’s budget for the establishment of a medical college in Kunkuri. Along with this, a decision has been taken to open a Government Nursing College and a Government Physiotherapy College in Jashpur, which will significantly increase health services. Chief Minister Shri Sai said that through these facilities, local citizens will get better treatment and they will not need to go to other cities for treatment. He urged the citizens present to take maximum advantage of the health camp. He said that if any patient is found to have a serious illness during the examination, the government has arranged for their proper treatment in Raipur.

    Chief Minister Shri Sai observed the counters of various specialist departments and expressed his gratitude to the doctors for their dedication and service while discussing with them.

    Specialist doctors from AIIMS Raipur are providing treatment

    It is noteworthy that this camp is being organized by the district administration Jashpur in collaboration with AIIMS Raipur. Specialist doctors from AIIMS in Medicine, Surgery, Cancer, ENT, Eye, Bone, Kidney, Skin, Gynecology and Psychiatry are providing their services at the camp. Patients suffering from serious diseases found during the examination at the camp will be referred to Raipur and treatment will be provided. Free medicines are also being provided at the camp. For the convenience of patients in the camp, facilities like 10 registration counters, 7 general OPD counters, 2 laboratory counters, separate counters for all specialist departments including general ward are available.

    Chief Minister Shri Sai distributed Ayushman cards and food baskets to TB patients

    At the camp, Chief Minister Shri Sai distributed Ayushman cards and Vay Vandana cards to Sundar Yadav, Sunita Bai, Bhagwati Singh, Francis Tigga, Plasidius Kerketta, Khilaso Bai under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana. Food baskets were also distributed to 10 TB patients under the Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan.

    Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai honored Nikshay Mitras for their commendable work in the field of service to TB patients under the Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, which included CMO Jashpur Dr. G. S. Jatra for providing nutrition support to TB patients and making significant contribution to the Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, DDM Shri Niranjan Prasad Gupta for taking responsibility of all TB patients of the specially backward tribe (PVTG) Pahari Korwa and Birhor community of Jashpur district and providing them nutrition support and making significant contribution to the Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan and Shri Bharat Ratnam Khute for providing nutrition support to TB patients and making significant contribution to the Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan.

    On this occasion, MLA and Vice President Surguja Region Tribal Development Authority Smt. Gomti Sai, MLA Smt. Raimuni Bhagat, Commissioner Shri Narendra Kumar Dugga, IG Shri Ankit Garg, Zilla Panchayat member Shri Shaurya Pratap Singh Judev, Shri Prabal Pratap Singh Judev, Shri Krishna Rai, Shri Rajesh Kumar Gupta along with other officers and employees of the health department were present.
