Announcement of ₹25 Lakh for the Sonar Samaj’s Social Building
Raipur, March 16, 2025 / Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai today attended the Talent Recognition Ceremony of the National Kannaujia Sonar Mahaparivar, Jashpur Mandal, held at Shyam Palace in Jashpur development block. He announced a financial assistance of ₹25 lakh for the construction of a social building for the community. On this occasion, he felicitated the meritorious students who secured excellent marks in class 10th and 12th, and those who cleared IIT and medical entrance exams with mementos and certificates of appreciation.
Appreciation of the Social Works of the Sonar Samaj
In his address, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the Sonar Samaj is doing exemplary work in the field of social service. He especially appreciated efforts such as free cataract operation camps, marriages of poor daughters, blood donation camps and tree plantation. He said that these social service efforts are inspiring for others and can bring positive change throughout the society.
Education Declared the Greatest Weapon, Call to Help Weaker Families
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that education gives a new direction to a person’s life and improves his/her living standards. He appealed to the Sonar Samaj to promote their children in the field of education and also support the children of weaker families in their studies. He said that education is the greatest weapon, which not only brightens the future of the individual but also ensures the progress of the entire society.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that it has been 15 months since his government was formed, and during this time, work is being done rapidly to fulfill the guarantees of Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji. On this occasion, Zilla Panchayat member Shri Shaurya Pratap Singh Judeo, Krishna Rai, Dr. Ram Pratap Singh, Shri Vijay Aditya Singh Judeo, District President of Sonar Samaj Shri Vikas Soni, along with a large number of people from the Sonar Samaj were present.
