    Announcement of Financial Assistance of Rs 5 Lakh to Next of Kin of Deceased and Rs 50 Thousand to Injured

    Raipur, November 4, 2025/ Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai described the train accident near Bilaspur as extremely sad and painful. He expressed deep condolences to the families who lost their loved ones in this accident. The Chief Minister said that may God grant peace to the departed souls and give the bereaved families the strength to bear this unbearable sorrow.

    Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the state government has decided to provide financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh to the families of the passengers who died in the accident and Rs 50 thousand to the injured. He said that arrangements for proper and free treatment of the injured have been ensured and the district administration has been instructed to expedite relief and rescue operations with immediate effect.

    Chief Minister said that the district administration and railway teams are engaged in relief and rescue work with full promptness. All necessary medical facilities and resources are being provided for the treatment of the injured. He said that the state government is continuously monitoring the situation with full sensitivity and alertness and all necessary steps are being taken.
