Chhattisgarh’s New Industrial Policy to be Presented on a National Platform in the Presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi
Raipur, April 22, 2025 / Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai will participate in two prestigious national events related to the textile and steel industries, being held in Mumbai, the economic capital of the country, on April 23 and 24. On these occasions, Chief Minister Shri Sai will present the state’s new industrial policy, investment opportunities, and vision for infrastructure development to industrialists and policymakers across the country. These events will be held at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Goregaon, Mumbai.
Day One: Interaction with Textile Sector Investors – April 23
Chief Minister Shri Sai will attend the CMAI Fab Show on April 23, organized by the Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI). This show is a major platform for leaders from the country’s textile industry, with the participation of renowned representatives from production, export, and branding. From this platform, the Chief Minister will share information about the special facilities, incentives, and investment opportunities available for the textile industry in Chhattisgarh’s new industrial policy. There is also a possibility of signing investment agreements (MoUs) with some major companies during this time.
Day Two: Chhattisgarh Presentation in the Presence of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi – April 24
Chief Minister Shri Sai will participate as a special guest in the inaugural ceremony of India Steel 2025 on April 24. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will join this program via video conferencing. On this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Sai will highlight the infrastructure, innovation, and long-term plans developed for the steel industry under Chhattisgarh’s new industrial policy.
A Chhattisgarh Round Table Meeting will also be organized on the same day, where the Chief Minister will directly interact with potential investors. This meeting will discuss topics such as industrial clusters, logistics support, single window clearance system, and favorable labor policies in detail.
New Chhattisgarh to be Showcased in the State Pavilion
Chief Minister Shri Sai will also visit the Chhattisgarh State Pavilion, which will showcase the state’s industrial infrastructure, policy incentives, and information on multifaceted investment opportunities. This pavilion will play an important role in attracting investors to Chhattisgarh.
Interaction with Media – Bombay Exhibition Centre
Chief Minister Shri Sai will interact with the media at the Bombay Exhibition Centre on April 23 and 24 at 1 PM. He will share information about the key objectives of this tour, the features of the state’s new industrial policy, and the efforts being made by the government to attract investment.
