A shocking act of violence in Khunti district, Jharkhand, has resulted in the death of one individual and serious injuries to another. The incident unfolded late Friday night when two friends on a motorcycle were ambushed. The attackers used chili powder to impair their vision before attacking them with a sharp weapon. Police were informed and arrived at the scene to begin their investigation.
The attack occurred near Kocharidih village as the victims were returning home from the Saiko weekly market. After the use of chili powder, the victims lost control of their motorcycle and fell. The attackers then used a sharp weapon on Choyta Sarukad, resulting in his death, while Singa Munda sustained serious injuries.
The attackers fled after the assault. Villagers discovered the victims and brought them to a local hospital. Choyta Sarukad was pronounced dead at the hospital. The police are actively working to apprehend the perpetrators and have initiated legal proceedings based on the statement of the injured survivor.
