    Addressing the relationship between India and China, Chinese Ambassador to India Xu Feihong stated that China facilitates the entry of all Indian goods into its market. He emphasized the significant stage of national development both countries are undergoing. Xu Feihong stated that the partnership between India and China is advantageous for Asia, and that both countries are driving economic progress. He also stated that India and China should manage differences through dialogue. The ambassador strongly condemned Trump’s plan to impose tariffs of up to 50% on India. Positive steps towards improved relations between the two nations were also highlighted, including the revival of pilgrimages and the renewal of tourist visas. Xu Feihong expressed optimism about Prime Minister Modi’s visit to China for the SCO Summit, believing it will energize the relationship.
