Chirag Paswan has declared that he will be contesting the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections from all 243 seats. Addressing a public meeting in Ara, he outlined his commitment to strengthening the NDA coalition with the aim of achieving victory. Paswan stated that he would be contesting ‘for Bihar’ and asked the public to choose his constituency. He also criticized the RJD and Congress, holding them responsible for the ‘jungle raj.’ Paswan reacted to Rahul Gandhi’s remarks about the Election Commission, interpreting them as a sign of conceded defeat. He also clarified that he does not aspire to be Chief Minister. The decision to contest, he added, would be made by his party’s parliamentary board.
