Palamu residents voiced their concerns directly to Deputy Commissioner Sameera S at a ‘Janata Darbar’ held at the district collectorate. The public meeting saw individuals from both urban and rural Palamu present applications detailing a variety of grievances, including land encroachment, issues with ration cards, and problems related to land acquisition. The Deputy Commissioner assured citizens that their concerns would be investigated and appropriate action taken within two weeks. One petitioner highlighted a critical issue where his salary has been blocked since 2016 due to a clerical error regarding his birth date, impacting his ability to support his family. He appealed for the salary to be restored. In light of numerous complaints regarding the Bishrampur Anchal office, the DC has scheduled a dedicated review of its operations for November 18th to address outstanding matters from previous public forums and ensure efficient service delivery.
