CLAT Exam 2022 Latest News and Updates: Common Law Admission Test or CLAT is a national-level entrance examination performed for admissions to nationwide legislation faculties. CLAT is an entry gate for admissions to 5-year built-in LLB (UG) and one-year LLM (PG) programs supplied by 22 collaborating NLUs and is performed by the Consortium of National Law Universities. 

Currently, the undergraduate programs are supplied by all 22 nationwide legislation universities (NLUs), and postgraduate programs are supplied at 19 NLUs. Apart from the NLUs, 61 different non-public affiliate faculties settle for CLAT examination scores for admissions to legislation programmes. Some public organizations corresponding to ONGC and BHEL use CLAT-PG scores for recruitment. 

The examination takes place in a pen and paper format. The check spans a period of two hours. The check for the undergraduate contains 150 questions, whereas the one for the postgraduate consists of 120 questions. For each appropriate reply,  one level is awarded and for each unsuitable reply, a marking of 0.25 is deducted. The questions are divided throughout 5 topics, specifically English language, and present affairs together with common data, authorized reasoning, logical reasoning and quantitative strategies.

CLAT 2022 will probably be performed on June 19, 2022 between 2 pm to six pm. The registration course of for the examination started on January 1 and the closed on May 9. The provisional reply key was launched on June 20.
