    Raipur. The basic identity of Bastar is its beautiful natural environment, rich tribal culture and peaceful environment. We have done a great job of giving back the original identity of Bastar in one year. Today Bastar is being praised not only in India but all over the world. The United Nations Tourism Organization has included village Dhudmaras among the 20 best tourist villages in the world. Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said this while addressing the inauguration and foundation stone laying program of development works organized at PG College Hostel ground in Jagdalpur today. On this occasion, he inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Pujan of 288 development works costing Rs 356 crore 44 lakh and distributed checks and materials worth more than Rs 1 crore 55 lakh to the beneficiaries under various schemes.

    Chief Minister Sai said that the state government is working with full commitment for the progress and development of Bastar region. Keeping in mind the needs of Bastar region, all basic facilities and resources are being provided. In Bastar we want to develop with confidence, in which we are getting success. We are fulfilling every promise that we had made to the people of Chhattisgarh as a guarantee for Modi. Within a year of forming the government, we have fulfilled most of Modi’s guarantees. The Chief Minister said that in order to provide housing to the people of sensitive areas of Bastar, on the request made by our government to the Central Government, 15 thousand Prime Minister’s houses have been separately approved for these areas.

    Union Agriculture Minister will come on 7th, homeless beneficiaries will be benefited

    The Chief Minister said that fulfilling the guarantee of 18 lakh PM housing approvals given by Prime Minister Modi, on the very second day of the oath of our government, we sanctioned houses to the houseless beneficiaries. The approved PM houses are now being constructed and the house warming of the benefited families is also taking place. He said that the country’s Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan is coming to Chhattisgarh on January 07, on this day also the homeless beneficiaries in the state will be benefited. He said that we started the Niyad Nella Naar scheme for the development of Naxal affected and backward areas, in which basic facilities under 53 welfare schemes and 28 community facilities of 17 departments of the government will be provided in the villages located within a radius of 5 kilometers of the security camps. Development is ensured at a rapid pace.

    Teaching is taking place in 18 local languages ​​in the schools of the state.

    The Chief Minister said that we have also implemented the National Education Policy, today education is being taught in 18 local languages ​​in the schools of the state. In Bastar, children are studying in Halbi and Gondi dialect. In the interest of our youth who aspire to become doctors, we have decided to conduct MBBS studies in Hindi medium. Under PM Shri School Scheme, arrangements are being made to suit modern education in 341 schools. He said that the development of cities and villages is going on continuously. Within one year, Rs 07 thousand crores have been released for the development of urban areas in the entire state.

    Announcement of Rs 50 crore for drinking water supply in Nagar Panchayat Bastar

    While addressing the program, Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao announced Rs 50 crore for providing pure drinking water to every household under the Amrit Mission Scheme in Nagar Panchayat Bastar. Forest and Cooperation Minister Kedar Kashyap said that there is a double engine government of Prime Minister Modi at the Center and Chief Minister Sai in the state, due to which the pace of development has accelerated. The program was also addressed by Revenue Minister Tankram Verma, Jagdalpur MLA Kiran Singh Dev and Bastar MP Mahesh Kashyap. On this occasion, Kanker Bhojraj Nag, MLA from Lok Sabha constituency Vinayak Goyal and Chaitram Atami, other public representatives and distinguished citizens of the area and a large number of villagers were present.
