Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai today ushered in a transformative phase for Chhattisgarh Police by inaugurating 8 cyber stations and over 1,200 housing units costing 255 crores. From Naya Raipur’s police headquarters, the virtual launch celebrated modern workspaces designed to empower officers against evolving threats.
‘This is a fortunate day for our police department,’ Sai declared, appreciating the high-quality builds after viewing detailed presentations. The facilities—ranging from cyber crime units and SDOP blocks to transit lodgings and family quarters—promise a conducive atmosphere for dedicated service.
The government’s ongoing mission to provide superior amenities aims to fortify state security. Sharma revealed plans to extend cyber thanas statewide, building on the five operational ones. Additional unveilings encompassed IRB sites, fresh police stations across nine districts, and specialized outposts like those in Karakabhat, Sanaud, Parsada, Karelibadi, Mana, Karnapur, Tarrem, Naimed, Chintagufa, Chintalnar, Bhirawahi, Bhranda, Bainur, Paddmanabhpur, Pulgaon, Dhammadha, Berla, SIB unit in Rajnandgaon, Kudargarh, and Baikunthpur housing complexes.
The gathering featured heavyweights including Main Secretary Vikas Shiel and police leaders. As cybercrimes surge, these investments position Chhattisgarh as a frontrunner in tech-savvy policing, ensuring vigilant protection for citizens.
