Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai held discussions with senior representatives of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) in Tokyo, including Mr. Nakajo Kazuya, Mr. Ando Yuji, and Mr. Hara Harunobu, as part of his visit to Japan. The primary focus of the discussions was to identify prospects for investment and industrial collaboration. The Chief Minister emphasized Chhattisgarh’s significant potential in a wide range of sectors, including IT, textiles, aerospace, automobiles, electronics, and clean energy, and encouraged the JETRO delegation to explore investment opportunities in the state’s rapidly expanding economy. He highlighted Chhattisgarh’s position in the heart of India as an emerging industrial and investment hub, supported by its transparent policies, streamlined processes, and strong industrial infrastructure, attracting global investors. He believed that these discussions would help foster stronger economic cooperation between Chhattisgarh and Japan. During his tour, Chief Minister Sai also visited the ‘Deep Space – To the Moon & Beyond’ exhibition, organized to mark National Space Day. He mentioned that this exploration into space science and innovations would provide direction and inspiration for the upcoming Space Manufacturing Cluster in Rajnandgaon, a project being developed with the support of the Government of India. Chief Minister Sai expressed his confidence that the visit would lead to tangible results in investment, innovation, and technology transfer, reiterating the Chhattisgarh government’s aim to achieve industrial self-reliance and enhance its global presence through international partnerships.
