Jharkhand is experiencing a noticeable drop in temperatures as winter’s grip tightens. Laher district has reported a minimum temperature of 15.8 degrees Celsius, marking a significant decline. The India Meteorological Department has advised that temperatures are expected to fall further in the coming days, impacting the capital Ranchi and other districts. The current weather pattern suggests clear skies across the state, but fog is predicted for many areas during the early mornings and nights. Daytime might see intermittent cloud cover, which could lead to a further decrease in temperatures.

Over the last day, Saraikela recorded the highest temperature at 32.3 degrees Celsius. The state has been dry, with no rainfall recorded. The lingering effects of heavy rainfall from a week prior have kept the ground moist, contributing to higher atmospheric humidity. This elevated moisture level is intensifying the feeling of cold during the early morning and night hours.

In Ranchi and its surrounding vicinities, Tuesday dawned with clear skies and sunshine, offering a welcome respite and an opportunity for people to enjoy the warmth. Maximum temperature readings for the day were: Ranchi 26.4°C, Jamshedpur 31.8°C, Daltonganj 31°C, Bokaro 28.1°C, and Chaibasa 30.8°C.
