Raipur. After the violent protests in Balodabazar, the state government is in action mode. Balodabazar Collector Kumar Lal Chauhan and SP Sadanand Kumar have been removed. IAS Deepak Soni has been made the Balodabazar Collector. IPS Vijay Agarwal has been given the responsibility of SP.

According to the order issued by the General Administration Department late night, Kumar Lal Chauhan has been temporarily posted as Special Secretary, Ministry till further orders. IAS Deepak Soni, Registrar, Cooperative Institutions and Additional Charge Commissioner, MNREGA has been temporarily posted as Collector District Balodabazar-Bhatapara till further orders.
According to the order issued by the Home Department, SP Sadanand Kumar of Balodabazar district has been sent to the Police Headquarters. Ambikapur SP IPS Vijay Agarwal has been given the command of Balodabazar district. Yogesh Patel has been given the responsibility of Ambikapur Superintendent of Police.
