Colombia Mourns: Senator Miguel Uribe Dies After Targeted Attack

Senator Miguel Uribe has died following a shooting in Bogotá. The attack occurred two months prior during a campaign event. The senator, who was 39, had been a member of the Senate since 2022, he was the son of journalist Diana Turbay and grandson of Julio Cesar Turbay Ayala. Six people have been booked in connection with the case, including two men who allegedly planned the assassination in Medellín.
