St. Columbus Mission Hospital recently concluded its two-day free health camp, a vital community outreach program held opposite the Bijli Office on Ravindra Path. The initiative successfully provided free medical consultations and treatment to 1323 underprivileged individuals. The first day saw 651 beneficiaries, followed by 672 on the second day, demonstrating the significant demand for accessible healthcare. The camp’s extensive free services included expert doctor advice, blood pressure monitoring, cancer risk assessment, provision of free medicines, dental check-ups, and eye examinations. Crucial health indicators like sugar and hemoglobin levels were also tested at no cost. Neurological assessments were offered, alongside a meal for all attendees. The hospital also provided significant concessions on services such as ultrasounds and other diagnostic tests, further alleviating financial burdens for patients. The event drew a considerable crowd of children, women, and men who took full advantage of the offered medical facilities. Dr. Praveen Srinivasa, guiding the hospital’s operations, expressed his vision for the camp: to bridge the gap in healthcare access for those who struggle with medical expenses. He affirmed the hospital’s dedication to continuing such community-focused health camps. The selfless contributions of the medical team, comprising specialists like Dr. J.K. Arya, Dr. A.N. Singh, Dr. Sachin Kumar Gupta, Dr. Mitali Soren, Dr. Pooja Bairwa, Dr. Shikha Khandelwal, Dr. Virendra Kumar, Dr. Rahul Ranjan, Dr. Adarsh Khandelwal, Dr. Ranjit Kumar, and Dr. Rinky Yadav, were instrumental in delivering quality care.
