The scooter segment has a new player with the arrival of the TVS Ntorq 150. This scooter is ready to take on the Aprilia SR 175, Hero Xoom 160, and Yamaha Aerox 155. A detailed comparison is provided to give buyers a clear understanding of how each model stacks up.

Though others might have more raw power, the Ntorq 150 offers a compelling package with its advanced features and competitive pricing. TVS has equipped the Ntorq 150 with a suite of modern features, including two riding modes (Street and Race), traction control, and single-channel ABS. In Street mode, the throttle response is tuned for smoothness, reducing the maximum power output to 10.9hp. The ISG’s electric boost is inactive in this mode, but functions like silent start and stop/start fuel-saving tech remain. Selecting Race mode unleashes the scooter’s full potential, with a 13.2hp output and access to the ISG’s electric boost.

Additional features include connected capabilities when you pair your smartphone or smartwatch to the display through the TVS app. These features encompass Alexa voice support, geofencing, Bluetooth connectivity for calls and notifications, music playback, SOS triggers, crash alerts, and more. Many of these are exclusive to the top-tier variant, which incorporates the 5-inch color TFT display and premium switchgear from the Apache RTR 310. The base model uses the split LCD/TFT unit from the Ntorq XT and Jupiter 125 SXC, with simplified controls similar to the Apache 160/200.
