A complaint has been filed against Virat Kohli at Cubbon Park Police Station in relation to the stampede outside Chinnaswamy Stadium on June 4. The complaint comes from H.M. Venkatesh, a senior social activist. The police have assured that the complaint will be taken into consideration alongside the already existing FIR concerning the tragic incident. The stampede occurred in the wake of RCB’s IPL title celebration, claiming the lives of eleven people and injuring several others. The Bengaluru police denied permission for a parade following RCB’s victory. The police have already opened an investigation. There have been suspensions of various senior police officers, including Bengaluru Police Commissioner B Dayananda, and a judicial commission has been set up to investigate the incident, which is under investigation.
