Controversial UK Move to Recognize Palestine Draws Ire in Israel

The United Kingdom is on the verge of formally recognizing Palestine as a state. This action will be announced by Keir Starmer. This move follows a July statement in which the UK government indicated that they would recognize Palestine if the Israeli actions in Gaza were not ceased by September. Countries like France, Australia, and Canada are considering similar recognition efforts.
