This article examines some of the safest sub-10 lakh cars, based on evaluations by Bharat NCAP and similar safety organizations. These tests assess how well a vehicle protects its occupants in a collision.

    The KIA Syros, recently tested, received a 5-star rating from Bharat NCAP. The Syros scored approximately 30.21 out of 32 for Adult Occupant Protection and 44.42 for Child Occupant Protection. The Syros is considered a top safety pick.
    The Syros excelled in the side impact test and includes advanced safety features.

    The Tata Nexon, a strong performer in Global NCAP tests, has a proven safety record.
    The new Vitara Brezza, not yet tested, may offer improvements over the previous model.

    The Hyundai Venue earned a 4-star rating for adult occupant safety.
    The Mahindra 3XO received a 5-star crash rating, showcasing impressive scores for both adult and child occupant protection. The car is packed with safety features.
    The Skoda Kylaq is a top choice in the subcompact SUV segment, achieving high scores in crash tests.
    The Maruti Suzuki Dzire, with 6 airbags, received a 5-star rating in both adult and child occupant safety.
    The 6-airbag version of the Baleno earned around 4 stars for adult safety and around 3 stars for child safety.
