This removes the need for beta access or waiting lists. Users can generate images by sending prompts within their WhatsApp conversations, allowing them to visualize concepts such as a futuristic city. To begin, add the official number (1-800-ChatGPT) to your contacts and start a chat with ‘Hello’. Users will be directed to securely link their OpenAI account. Once connected, they can generate images with simple prompts. The feature is powered by OpenAI’s DALL·E model, which has been enhanced since its initial release in 2021, with updates in 2023 and 2024 improving image editing and accuracy. Users will not need to download any additional apps or browser extensions to use this feature.
