This tool has been instrumental in identifying and disconnecting over 8.2 million mobile connections. These connections were associated with a single individual but registered under different names, and failed the re-verification process. This information was provided by the Minister of State for Communications and Rural Development, Dr. Pemmasani Chandrasekhar, in a written response in the Rajya Sabha.
