Deepika Padukone Celebrates Daughter Dua’s 1st Birthday with Homemade Cake

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh celebrated their daughter Dua’s first birthday, and Deepika took to Instagram to share the special occasion. She posted a picture of a cake she made for Dua’s birthday, with the caption: “My love language? Baking a cake for my daughter’s 1st birthday!” The couple received many birthday wishes from their fans in the comments. The couple announced their daughter’s name in November 2024, naming her Dua Padukone Singh. They explained that the name ‘Dua’ signifies a prayer, as their daughter is the answer to their prayers. Deepika Padukone recently starred in Singham Again. She is also set to star in an upcoming Telugu film with Allu Arjun and Atlee, where she will portray a warrior. This film is her second Telugu project after Kalki 2898 AD. Deepika was considered for Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Spirit,’ but Triptii Dimri was eventually cast. She is also working on King with Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan. In addition, Deepika has become the first Indian actress to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, an honour she will receive in 2026 in the Motion Pictures category.
