Rain affected Delhi and the NCR on Monday, leading to a decrease in temperature. The IMD forecasts intense rain and thunderstorms for regions including Odisha, Chhattisgarh, and parts of Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan. A low-pressure zone over Gangetic West Bengal is causing likely showers in many areas. The monsoon continues to create difficulties, particularly in the hilly regions, resulting in landslides and loss of life. In numerous states, the weather department has issued red and orange alerts and is urging caution. For Northwest, West Coast, and Northeast India, there are warnings of heavy rain over the next week. Additionally, intense rain activity is expected in Uttarakhand, East Rajasthan, Jammu-Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, and West and East Uttar Pradesh. Rainfall is also predicted by the IMD in South Interior Karnataka, Kerala & Mahe, Coastal Karnataka, and Telangana during various dates in July. People are advised to remain vigilant and take necessary precautions.
