    Delhi on Yellow Alert as IMD Predicts Heavy Rainfall Across Multiple States

    India is experiencing the monsoon season in various states. Delhi is under a yellow alert for the next four days, with the expectation of heavy rain and strong winds on Saturday. The IMD predicts a maximum temperature of 35 degrees Celsius for Saturday. The IMD has issued warnings for heavy to very heavy rainfall in several regions. Madhya Pradesh is expected to receive heavy rainfall from June 21 to 25. West Bengal and Sikkim are likely to experience thunderstorms and rain from June 21 to 22. Heavy rainfall is expected in Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand today. Bihar is likely to receive heavy rainfall from June 24 to 26, with eastern Madhya Pradesh potentially experiencing similar conditions on June 22 and 23. The Andaman and Nicobar Islands have a heavy rainfall warning for June 21. Odisha is expected to receive heavy rainfall from June 24 to 26. Western India will remain under the influence of the monsoon. Goa, central Maharashtra, and Gujarat are likely to receive heavy rainfall from June 21 to 26. Northeast India will see ongoing monsoon activity for the next seven days. Light to moderate rainfall is expected in many areas, which could lead to waterlogging. Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, and West Uttar Pradesh are expected to receive heavy rainfall from June 21 to 26. Rajasthan and East Uttar Pradesh are likely to experience heavy rainfall from June 20 to 24. Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh are predicted to have heavy rainfall on June 21, 22, 25, and 26. East Uttar Pradesh is under a very heavy rainfall warning from June 20 to 22. Heavy rainfall is also expected in East Rajasthan on June 21 and 23, and in South Haryana, West Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand on June 22. Kerala is likely to receive heavy rainfall from June 22 to 26. Karnataka is expected to experience heavy rainfall from June 21 to 26. Andhra Pradesh and Telangana may face strong surface winds from June 21 to 24. Hot and humid conditions are expected in parts of Tamil Nadu from June 21 to 22.
