    The monsoon’s influence is widespread, leading to rainfall across India. Heavy rains lashed Delhi-NCR on Sunday night and continued into Monday morning. The Meteorological Department issued a yellow alert for Monday and has kept it in place for today. Thunderstorms and light to moderate rain are expected in the capital throughout the day. The weather forecast also includes cloudy skies and moderate rainfall for tomorrow. This rainy weather in Delhi is expected to last until July 13. Uttar Pradesh is expected to receive heavy rainfall in districts like Bahraich, Lakhimpur Kheri, Agra, Firozabad, Etawah, Shahjahanpur, Jalaun, Mahoba, Jhansi, and Lalitpur. Bihar is seeing a reduction in rainfall and is currently experiencing a dry spell in the monsoon season. Some districts in Bihar may receive rainfall. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is predicted for Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Chandigarh, Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Punjab, Telangana, and Uttarakhand. The weather department forecasts heavy rainfall in Assam, Meghalaya, coastal Karnataka, the Gangetic plains of West Bengal, and Rajasthan. Heavy rainfall is also expected in Jharkhand, Kerala, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu and Kashmir.
