    Delhi experienced heavy rainfall on Wednesday, bringing a welcome change in the weather. The overcast conditions continued on Thursday, with dark clouds dominating the sky. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning for more intense rain in Delhi today. The maximum temperature is expected to be 31 degrees Celsius, and the minimum 26 degrees Celsius. The rainy weather is expected to persist for the next five days.

    Rainfall is expected in several areas of Delhi, including Anand Vihar, South Delhi, Pitampura, Rajghat, Najafgarh, Jafarpur, Narela, Mehrauli, Laxmi Nagar, and Rohini. These areas had already experienced heavy rainfall on Wednesday, providing relief from the humidity. The rain has brought respite after a period of intense heat.

    From July 31st to August 4th, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh are expected to receive heavy rainfall. Several districts in Himachal Pradesh are under a heavy rainfall alert. On July 31st, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, and Haryana are also likely to experience rain. Eastern Rajasthan is expected to receive very heavy rainfall on July 31st.

    Over the next seven days, the Western Himalayan region and the plains will likely experience thunderstorms and rain. Heavy rainfall is expected in the Konkan and Ghat regions of Maharashtra on July 31st. The region is expected to see rain for the next 6-7 days. Between July 31st and August 4th, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura are likely to see thunderstorms and rain in various locations.

    From July 31st to August 4th, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar, Jharkhand, Gangetic West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, and Madhya Pradesh are likely to experience very heavy rainfall. Thunderstorms and strong winds are also expected in these states over the next five days. Strong surface winds are anticipated in South Peninsular India over the next three days. Kerala, Mahe, Lakshadweep, Karnataka, Rayalaseema, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana are also included in the forecast for rainfall over the next seven days.
