A bride from Bihar tragically died in Delhi shortly after her marriage, sparking claims of a murder orchestrated by her husband and in-laws. The incident has sent shockwaves through the community.
After marrying, the woman moved to Delhi with her husband. They were residing in a rented apartment when the suspicious death occurred. The family alleges the husband had an affair, and the wife had uncovered evidence of it.
According to the family, Mayuri married Vipul Kumar on March 6, 2025. They allege that Vipul, his parents, brother, and Vipul’s girlfriend Ritika are responsible. The family claims they staged the scene to look like a suicide by hanging. Poonam Singh, Mayuri’s mother, stated that Mayuri had informed her about her husband’s affair with Ritika and had evidence of the same.
Gaurav Kumar, Mayuri’s brother, said that Vipul informed him about the suicide, but the body was found on the floor before the police arrived, which the family views as a sign of foul play. Delhi Police have registered a case of murder at the Mandawali police station. Vipul has been arrested, while the other suspects remain at large.
The family is demanding justice and seeking the arrest of all those involved. The police are investigating the case and searching for the absconding suspects.
