The Indian cricket community is saddened by the passing of Dilip Doshi, who died at 77 in London after a cardiac arrest. The BCCI announced the news, offering condolences. Doshi played for India from 1979 to 1983, taking 114 Test wickets and 22 ODI wickets. His debut match in Chennai against Australia was highly impressive. Doshi is among the few Indian cricketers with a five-wicket haul on their Test debut. He also had a strong domestic career, playing for Saurashtra and Bengal, as well as in English county cricket.
