Mridul’s expressions of unrequited feelings have created distance between them. The issue began when Mridul observed Natalia interacting with Basir Ali and Abhishek Bajaj. He took the opportunity to speak with Natalia privately. Using broken English, he said, “I am happy with you, you are happy with me…” When Natalia inquired about who had expressed these thoughts to him, Mridul, instead of answering, chose to emphasize his feelings.
Mridul added, “Understand my emotions. If I like a girl, it doesn’t matter who she talks to, but she shouldn’t talk to others the way she talks to me. There should be some difference between us and the others.” This did not sit well with Natalia. It was made worse when Mridul said, “You are my friend, but the other girls in the house are my sisters.
