The seats of MBA and MCA have not been filled even once. Out of 1000 seats, not even 400 seats have been filled. These courses have been running in DAVV for three years.
Naiduniya Representative, Indore. For working people, the admission process for MBA-MCA conducted by Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) Center of Distance Education and Online Education (CDOE) has started.
For the first time, the university administration has arranged for online application for registration. Even payment can be made through the portal. Now the department has set the deadline for application till September. After that counselling will be conducted.
The University Grants Commission (UGC) has changed the rules regarding distance education. This has made the three-year MBA course a two-year course. Also, emphasis has been laid on giving admission in distance education courses twice in a year.
Applicants can register in January and July. According to officials, the two-year MBA-MCA is recognized by UGC and AICTE. There are 1000 MBA and 250 MCA seats. In MBA, courses can be completed in Marketing, HR, Finance, Energy Management, Business Analysis. The admission process will continue till September 30.

According to the officials, employed applicants also need 10th-12th and graduation mark sheets, caste certificate and experience letter. Classes will be held every Sunday. According to the department’s director Dr. Pratosh Basnal, applications have been invited till September 30. Admission will be given after that.

After doubling, the number of MBA seats has now increased to 1000, but not even once have 400 seats been filled. While the duration of the course has been reduced by one year. Similarly, a new course of MCA has been started.
