    Naiduniya representative, Bhind: The police has arrested the accused of dowry murder who was living in Gwalior by changing his name and disguise for 20 years. SP Dr. Asit Yadav had announced a reward of 10 thousand rupees for the arrest of the accused. Gormi police station in-charge Dhyanendra Singh said that Dharmendra Singh, a resident of Hariksha, was absconding in the dowry murder case for about 20 years.

    According to the police station in-charge, the court had also issued a permanent warrant for the arrest of the accused. The police received information that the accused was living near Gole Temple in Gwalior under a different name and disguise. The police went to Gwalior and caught the accused. The accused was presented in the court, from where he has been sent to jail.

    A case has been registered against those who assaulted the commandant during the rescue of SDRF jawans

    On 20th August, the boat of SDRF jawans who had gone to rescue the villagers at the stop dam built on the Kwari river in Kachongara village of Dehat police station area capsized, in which two jawans went missing. On 21st August, NDRF from Gwalior started the rescue operation. During this, angry villagers blocked the way of the Home Guard Commandant and beat him up.

    After investigation, the police have registered a case against six named and eight unidentified people on the basis of video footage. Let us tell you that on August 20, Vijay Singh Rajawat’s cow got stuck in water in Kachungra. Vijay went to rescue it, but got stuck in the water himself. His brother Sunil entered the river to help. Sunil also got stuck in the water.

    When the SDERF team went to rescue the villagers, the boat got stuck in a whirlpool and overturned. Jawans Praveen Kushwaha and Hardas Chauhan drowned in it. Secondly, when the rescue operation was going on, the angry people beat up Home Guard Commandant Umesh Sharma. After investigation, the police have registered a case against Ramu, Karu alias Khemraj, Sumit, Akash, Ashu, Amit Rathore and eight unidentified people under various sections including obstruction in government work.
