The India vs. England 4th Test concluded in a draw as India successfully fought back to secure the result. England maintains a 2-1 lead in the series, but India can still level the series. Ravindra Jadeja and Washington Sundar played a crucial role by remaining not out. In the second innings, India recovered after an early setback, with KL Rahul (90) and Shubman Gill (103) leading the charge. The Indian batters applied significant pressure on the England bowlers.

Washington Sundar (101) scored a maiden century, and Ravindra Jadeja (107) also contributed with a century.

In the first innings, India scored 358 runs, with contributions from Yashasvi Jaiswal (58), KL Rahul (46), Sai Sudharsan (61), Rishabh Pant (54), and Shardul Thakur (41). Rishabh Pant was injured during the first day and was diagnosed with a toe fracture, which resulted in him taking rest for six weeks. However, he still returned to bat and scored a half-century.

England scored 669 runs, gaining a lead of 311 runs. With the help of experienced players such as KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja, India’s young team showed strong determination and will play their next test on July 31 at The Oval.
