    Duleep Trophy 2024 2nd Round: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the squads of the four teams on Tuesday for the second round of the current season of the Duleep Trophy. Some changes have been made in the teams of India A, India B and India D for the second round, many Indian stars including Shubman Gill, KL Rahul, Dhruv Jurel, Kuldeep Yadav, Akash Deep have been released for the upcoming Test series against Bangladesh. Now these players will start preparing for the Test match starting from September 19. At the same time, India C team will be seen playing without any change.

    Mayank will take over the captaincy of India A in place of Gill

    Let us tell you that the captain of India A has been released by BCCI for the upcoming Test series against Bangladesh. In such a situation, Mayank Agarwal will now take over the command of the team in his place. Pratham Singh (Railways) has replaced Gill, Akshay Wadkar (Vidarbha) has replaced KL Rahul and SK Rashid (Andhra Pradesh) has replaced Dhruv Jurel in the team. Left-arm spinner Shams Mulani will replace Kuldeep in the team while Aaqib Khan (UPCA) will replace Akash Deep in the team.

    Rinku Singh’s entry

    Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rishabh Pant of India B have been included in the Indian team. In their place, the selectors have made Suyash Prabhudesai and Rinku Singh a part of the team respectively. Fast bowler Yash Dayal has got a place in the national team for the first time. Sarfaraz Khan has also been included in the Indian team. However, he will play in the second round match. Himanshu Mantri (Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association) has been included in India B in place of Dayal. Similarly, Haryana’s Nishant Sindhu has been selected in India D in place of star all-rounder Axar Patel. Tushar Deshpande has been ruled out of the second round due to injury and will be replaced by Vidwath Kaverappa of India A.

    India A: Mayank Agarwal (captain), Riyan Parag, Tilak Verma, Shivam Dube, Tanush Kotian, Prasidh Krishna, Khaleel Ahmed, Avesh Khan, Kumar Kushagra, Shaswat Rawat, Pratham Singh, Akshay Wadkar, SK Rashid, Shams Mulani, Aaqib Khan.

    India B: Abhimanyu Easwaran (captain), Sarfaraz Khan, Mushir Khan, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Washington Sundar, Navdeep Saini, Mukesh Kumar, Rahul Chahar, R Sai Kishore, Mohit Awasthi, N Jagadeesan (wicketkeeper), Suyash Prabhudesai, Rinku Singh, Himanshu Mantri (wicketkeeper).

    India D: Shreyas Iyer (captain), Atharva Tayde, Yash Dubey, Devdutt Padikkal, Ricky Bhui, Saransh Jain, Arshdeep Singh, Aditya Thakare, Harshit Rana, Akash Sengupta, KS Bharat (wicketkeeper), Saurabh Kumar, Sanju Samson (wicketkeeper), Nishant Sindhu, Vidawath Kaverappa
