    In a remarkable display of batting, Central Zone’s captain Rajat Patidar reached his century in a mere 80 balls during the Duleep Trophy 2025 quarterfinal. He hammered the North East Zone bowlers, hitting a total of 20 boundaries, including 18 fours and 2 sixes. Patidar’s explosive innings has put him in strong contention for a place in the Indian team for the upcoming Test series against the West Indies. Patidar led the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) to victory in the IPL 2025, marking their first title win in 17 years.
