Victims often send small amounts, which further enables the criminals. Cybersecurity firms like Kaspersky and Akamai stress that AI-generated frauds are very hard to detect. Traditional pattern-based security systems are not effective against these scams because the methods of fraud are continually evolving. Experts advise increased vigilance as recovering lost money is nearly impossible.
