New Flight from Hard Work: Farmer Pradeep Patel Will Now Buy His Own Tractor

    Raipur November 27, 2025/
Pradeep Patel, a young and hardworking farmer from Gandharachua village in Saranggarh-Bilaigarh district, has taken a step towards realizing a big dream by selling his produce this Kharif season.

At the Kankbeera paddy procurement center, Pradeep sold 51.60 quintals of paddy from approximately 2 acres of land to the state government. He is very happy with the support price of Rs 3100 per quintal. He stated that by adding his savings to the amount received from the paddy sale, he will fulfill his dream of buying a tractor—which will make his agricultural work simpler, faster, and more modern.

Pradeep Patel said that Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai’s decision to procure 21 quintals of paddy per acre is a great relief for farmers. He also praised the token system. Earlier, long queues had to be endured to get tokens, but now with the online ‘Tumhar Token’ facility, farmers can get tokens on their mobile phones.

Pradeep happily mentioned that farmers are not facing any difficulties at the paddy procurement center due to the availability of drinking water, quality gunny bags, and timely arrangements.

This success story of Pradeep Patel illustrates how government schemes, technological facilities, and a farmer’s hard work together open new paths of progress in life.
