Bilaspur: On the morning of January, two earthquake tremors were felt in JP Heights, Shubham Vihar, Bilaspur. The incident occurred between 6:40 and 7 am. Nilesh Aggarwal, a resident of flat number 409, said that shortly after waking up in the morning, he felt two tremors of the earthquake.
During the first shock, he thought that perhaps he was feeling dizzy, because the glass doors of the flat were also shaking. But as soon as the second shock was felt, it became clear to Nilesh that it was an earthquake.
After the incident, there was increased commotion around the flat and an atmosphere of panic was created for some time. However, till now there has been no news of any loss of life or property.
