Bajaj Auto posts 114% gross sales development at 2,71,862 items in May

Bajaj Auto on Tuesday reported 114 per cent development in its complete car gross sales at 2,71,862 items in May in comparison with the identical month final 12 months.
The firm had bought 1,27,128 autos in May final 12 months, Bajaj Auto stated in an announcement.
The complete home gross sales logged 52 per cent development at 60,830 items as in comparison with 40,074 items bought in May 2020, whereas the overall exports spiked 142 per cent to 2,11,032 items over 87,054 items shipped out in May 2020, the corporate stated.

The complete two-wheeler gross sales elevated 113 per cent to 2,40,554 items in May 2021 from 112, 798 items in the identical month of 2020, it stated.

During the month, the home two-wheelers gross sales stood at 60,342 items, a development of 54 per cent over 39, 286 two wheelers bought in May final 12 months whereas exports grew 145 per cent to 180, 212 items within the month as towards 73,512 autos in May 2020.
The industrial autos gross sales, together with exports, had been 31,308 items in May 2021 as in comparison with 14,330 autos in the identical month of 2020, registering a development of 118 per cent.
