In her key bulletins of Union Budget 2021, Finance Minister Nirmala stated that 15,000 colleges shall be strengthened as per National Education Policy whereas 100 new Sainik Schools shall be arrange in partnership with NGOs.
The finance minister additionally introduced {that a} Central University shall be set within the Leh, Ladakh to facilitate college students who belong from the union territory.
Besides, Rs 38 crore shall be allotted for Eklavya Schools to offer high quality training to the tribal and underprivileged college students.
In her Budget speech, Sitharaman additionally proposed to amend apprenticeship legislation to boost alternatives for youth.
