FM Sitharaman to attend G-20 joint finance and well being ministers meet in Rome

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will attend the G-20 joint Finance and Health Ministers assembly in Rome on October 29, which amongst different issues will focus on COVID pandemic prevention and response.

Finance and well being ministers will focus on the best way to maintain momentum on response to pandemic and construct on additional coordination preparations between well being and finance ministries.
On October 29, G20 Finance and Health Ministers will collect in Rome for his or her first joint assembly below the Italian G20 Presidency. The assembly will likely be co-chaired by Daniele Franco, Italian Minister of Economy and Finance and Roberto Speranza, Italian Minister of Health.
The assembly will likely be held on the eve of the G20 Leaders’ Summit going down in Rome on October 30-31, 2021.
