Gold costs on Monday gained Rs 389 to Rs 48,866 per 10 gram within the nationwide capital, in step with the rise in international worth of the yellow metallic and rupee depreciation, in line with HDFC Securities. In the earlier commerce, the dear metallic had closed at Rs 48,477 per 10 gram.
Silver costs additionally jumped Rs 1,137 to Rs 64,726 per kilogram from Rs 63,589 per kilogram within the earlier commerce.
The rupee depreciated 24 paise to 73.48 towards the US greenback within the opening commerce on Monday.
In the worldwide market, gold was buying and selling within the inexperienced at USD 1,853 per ounce, whereas silver was quoting flat at USD 25.14 per ounce.
