‘Lending mkt size doubled last fiscal over FY17’

The whole measurement of the lending market in India rose to Rs 156.9 lakh crore as of March 2021, a 100 per cent progress from FY17, credit score bureau CRIF High Mark mentioned in a report. Over the final 5 years, retail, micro-lending and business lending portfolios have seen a rise by 91 per cent, 157 per cent and 93 per cent, respectively.
It mentioned retail and business lending contributed 49 per cent every to India’s whole lending and microfinance contributes to 2 per cent of the overall lending pie.
