Equity benchmarks Sensex and Nifty ended marginally decrease on Tuesday as traders booked income at increased ranges amid a blended pattern in international markets. Axis Bank was the highest laggard within the Sensex pack, shedding round 2 per cent, adopted by ICICI Bank, Nestle India, Infosys, SBI and HUL.

On the opposite hand, PowerGrid rallied over 6 per cent. ONGC, NTPC, Kotak Bank and Reliance Industries had been additionally among the many gainers.
