He alluded to a past DGP who faced severe accusations of orchestrating contract killings and amassing corrupt wealth, accusations even voiced by ruling party figures. Marandi issued a stern warning to the ED, urging them to be exceptionally careful, as the prevailing system reportedly favors those who bury the truth. He concluded that when the lines between authority, the enforcement system, and criminal syndicates blur, the demise of justice becomes a predictable outcome.
