These documents are crucial for the ED’s investigation into alleged illegal sand mining activities. This recent move follows a prior survey conducted at the Hazaribagh DMO office, during which some documents were seized. The investigation is based on an ECIR filed against Amba Prasad’s family members. The investigation led to raids on July 4th at Amba Prasad’s office, her brother’s Chartered Accountant’s office, and locations connected to sand businesses. The ED discovered and seized documents related to illegal sand mining operations during these raids.
