Willard Carroll’s ‘Marigold’ introduces the character Marigold, played by Ali Larter, an American actress known for her unrefined behavior. The narrative portrays her unpleasant conduct upon her arrival in India. Her actions include lying to get a seat on the plane, exhibiting rude behavior, and treating those around her poorly.

Marigold’s actions are explained as her frustrations with her career, which is filled with roles lacking substance. This is followed by romantic scenes between the main characters.

The chemistry between the choreographer and Marigold has some appeal, particularly due to Salman Khan’s charisma. In the deserts of Rajasthan, Prem seeks to marry Marigold, though complications arise due to other commitments and romantic interests.

The film has some poorly choreographed numbers. Despite this, ‘Marigold’ has strengths, offering some sassy lines and a cool performance from Salman Khan. The film parodies aspects of Bollywood and Hollywood. It appears unlikely that a sequel will be made.
