    Raipur, 01 November 2024 / On the occasion of 24th anniversary of Chhattisgarh state and Diwali, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai participated in the lighting program of 11,000 lamps organized at Ekatm Path of Naya Raipur. He lit the lamp ritually amid chanting of mantras. This event is a symbol of the cultural heritage and unity of the state, through which the culture of Chhattisgarh was displayed. The lighting of the lamps brought new energy and enthusiasm, which will enhance the pride of the state.

    On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Arun Saw, MLA Mr. Purandar Mishra, Mr. Motilal Sahu, Guru Mr. Khushwant Saheb, Mr. Inder Kumar Sahu, Chief Secretary Mr. Amitabh Jain, Secretary to the Chief Minister Mr. P. Dayanand and Mr. Basava Raju S. and many public representatives, Senior officers, distinguished citizens were present.

    On this occasion, 11 thousand lamps were lit in Ekatmapath. On Chhattisgarh Foundation Day, the program of Naya Raipur along with lighting of lamp, spectacular fireworks and colorful lights thrilled everyone. On this occasion, melodious musical tunes made the atmosphere even more captivating. The venue was decorated with attractive rangoli, and people expressed happiness by taking selfies at the selfie point with the symbols of the Foundation Day.

    On this occasion, in a program organized near the newly constructed CBD railway station in Nava Raipur and on Ekatmpath, he distributed sweets to the workers and sanitation workers and extended best wishes on the occasion of Diwali.

    The state of Chhattisgarh was established on 1 November 2000 by carving it out of Madhya Pradesh under the leadership of former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, this state reorganization is an important milestone in the political and administrative history of India.

    The main objective behind the establishment of Chhattisgarh was to accelerate the pace of development in the region, along with recognizing the distinct cultural and linguistic identity of the region and to provide better administrative facilities to the people.

    Today, the state is celebrating its 24th foundation anniversary and is playing an important role in the development journey of the country with its rich culture and diversity. This day is an occasion of pride and celebration for the people of the state.
